Bali 4.6 – moderni katamaran za drugačiji doživljaj jedrenja

Bali 4.6 – a modern answer to classic catamarans such as the Lagoon 46, Leopard 46 and Fountaine Pajot Elba 45

In the 46-foot catamaran segment, proven models that offer reliability, stability and a recognizable layout have dominated for years. Among them, catamarans such as the Lagoon 46, Leopard 46 and Fountaine Pajot Elba 45 stand out as representatives of a classic, well-balanced approach to cruising. The Bali 4.6, however, introduces a completely different philosophy—one that reflects a modern way of spending time at sea and the changing habits of today’s guests.

Open space and the largest flybridge in its class

Unlike the traditional layouts found on most other catamarans, where the saloon and cockpit are clearly separated, the Bali 4.6 introduces the distinctive Open Space concept. Thanks to large lifting aft doors, the interior and exterior areas merge into one large, functional living space.

This solution creates the feeling of a much larger yacht compared to classic catamarans of the same size. An additional advantage is that the Bali 4.6 features the largest flybridge in its class. Spacious, comfortable and offering excellent visibility, the flybridge becomes the main gathering point during the day—both for relaxation and for enjoying panoramic views while sailing. In addition to the generous flybridge and saloon, the Bali 4.6 offers an extremely practical layout with five comfortable cabins, making it an ideal choice for larger groups and charter use.

Foredeck – functionality instead of compromise

While the Lagoon, Leopard and similar catamarans in this segment retain traditional trampolines on the bow, the Bali 4.6 stands out with its solid foredeck. This is not merely a design choice, but a significant functional advantage.

A rigid foredeck provides a stable area for sunbathing, movement and socializing throughout the day, even while underway. In practice, this means an additional outdoor “living room,” something that is rarely achieved to this extent on classic catamarans of this size.

Easy handling with a high level of safety

Despite its innovative solutions and more open concept, the Bali 4.6 retains what it shares with the aforementioned models: ease of handling and safety under sail. Centralized controls, excellent visibility and a stable construction make it suitable even for less experienced crews, which is particularly important in a charter environment.

For guests already familiar with classic catamarans, transitioning to the Bali 4.6 feels natural and effortless, with a clearly noticeable improvement in onboard comfort.

Bali 4.6 – a step beyond the classic concept

While catamarans such as the Lagoon 46 represent the classic design approach in this class, the Bali 4.6 goes a step further, offering a modern, open and exceptionally comfortable way of life on the water.

As the official representative of Bali Catamarans, Yachting One confidently recommends the Bali 4.6 to guests seeking more space, more freedom and a different sailing experience—without compromising the safety and reliability expected in this class.
